A
famous American industrialist of the 1940's when asked for
the secret of his success, declared "Find a need and
fill it." Among those who heeded Henry J. Kaiser's
advice was a California railroad man, Russ Lummis, founder
of our company. He saw a need for brakemen and switchmen
to have a better, safer, more convenient way to handle their
keys. Dangling key chains they wore sometimes caught on
moving trains.
Lummis
